Pedlow Jr., MD, has been recognized as a 2024 Castle Connolly Top Doctor — the fifteenth year he has received the prestigious Top Doctor honor. Only about 7 percent of the nation’s licensed physicians are selected annually as Castle Connolly Top Doctors in their regions for their specialties.

Dr. Pedlow is a spinal surgeon at Boston Spine Surgery, his private practice since 2003, and is on the medical staff at the Massachusetts General Hospital and the New England Baptist Hospital. Certified in orthopaedic surgery by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery, Dr. Pedlow is one of the only spine surgeons in New England who has received advanced fellowship training in both the neurosurgical and orthopedic principles and techniques of spine surgery.

He is a nationally recognized leader in the treatment of complex spinal disorders.

His practice offers a combination of experience, expertise, good judgment, and a conservative philosophy that can often benefit his patients. He has a proficient, intelligent, and caring staff that strives to maximize the patient experience and facilitates effective and timely communication with patients and referring physicians.

Dr. Pedlow is an Associate Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at Harvard Medical School and a member of the Department of Orthopedic Surgery at the Massachusetts General Hospital and New England Baptist Hospital.
