Sabbeth Law Launches Sober Holiday Rides Program for Halloween

BURLINGTON, VT, October 07, 2026 /24-7PressRelease/ — In an effort to promote safer roads during Halloween celebrations, Sabbeth Law is offering free ride reimbursement through its Sober Holiday Rides program on October 31, 2026.

The initiative encourages individuals celebrating the holiday to choose a taxi or rideshare instead of driving after drinking. Eligible participants can receive reimbursement of up to $50 (including a 10% tip) for a one-way ride home.

Halloween night brings a dangerous combination to the roads: costume parties and drinking on one side, and children and families walking door to door after dark on the other. This year, Halloween falls on a Saturday, meaning more celebrations and more people out late. As a law firm serving Vermont and New Hampshire, Sabbeth Law has seen firsthand the consequences of preventable drunk driving crashes.

“We want people to celebrate responsibly and get home safely,” said Michael J. Sabbeth, Esquire. “If covering the cost of a ride removes one barrier to making a safe decision, it’s worth it.”
