ATLANTA, GA, June 22, 2023 /24-7PressRelease/ — Ackerman & Co. has acquired 2020 East Park Drive, a 212,232-square-foot, Class A distribution facility in Conyers, Ga., located approximately 30 miles east of downtown Atlanta. The firm purchased the facility, completed in late 2022, from Dayton Street Partners. The price was not disclosed.

Located in the I-20 East distribution corridor in Rockdale County, the facility is strategically positioned to attract distribution, logistics and manufacturing users, offering convenient access to Atlanta’s dense consumer submarkets to the west and the fast-growing ports of Savannah and Charleston to the east.

The rear-load facility at 2020 East Park Drive features 32-foot clear heights, two drive-in dock doors, more than 200 auto parking spaces, and a truck court with 41 parking spaces. The building also offers multiple access points off of East Park Drive, with separate auto and truck access.

Although a significant amount of new industrial supply has begun to enter the market, availability across metro Atlanta is tighter than at any time before 2021, with roughly 4.5% vacancy, according to CoStar. Availability in the Rockdale/Newton County submarket now stands at 6.7%.
