Access TeleCare was the first telemedicine organization to earn The Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval® in 2006 and has consistently maintained the accreditation since.

Access TeleCare underwent a rigorous on-site survey on October 24, 2023. During the site visit, a team of Joint Commission reviewers evaluated compliance with Ambulatory & Telehealth standards, including provision of care, record of care, leadership, credentialing/privileging, emergency management, competence assessment, and rights and responsibilities of the individual.

The Joint Commission’s standards are developed in consultation with health care experts and providers, measurement experts and patients.
